Case study: Carl & Rachel
Carl and Rachel wanted a modern, simple design for their wedding invitation, with the option to send separate evening invitations out digitally too.
We started with a few examples of templates to get an idea of sizes and designs, and settled on a venue illustration for the main invitation, with a matching RSVP card.
I designed the venue illustration digitally, and created a daytime and evening version. Inspired by wedding arches, we went for a bold, colourful arch design that was mirrored on the RSVP card. Finally, I created a bespoke floral design based on Rachel’s bouquet flowers.
After making some final tweaks, I prepared print and digital files, and sent it over to the happy couple, so they had everything they needed to place the printing order with my recommended printer.
